Glazed ham is a staple at my Christmas lunch, it's truly a special once a year food that I look forward to every Christmas. This year I'm glazing mine in a cherry and whisky glaze; smokey, sweet and perfect for ham. My Belling oven meant I could bake my ham, pav and gratin at the same time! Christmas made easy!

  Ingredients:
1 Ham - any size to suit your family
1 jar of good quality cherry jam
1 cup of whisky
Juice of two oranges
1 cup of brown sugar
Warm spices - star anise, clove and cinnamon are my go to!
  Method:
Combine the ingredients for the glaze in a small saucepan and bring to the boil. Reduce by half.
Remove the skin from your ham and score the fat. Glaze with the cherry mix and place in a 180c oven, for two hours, stopping to glaze every 15-20 minutes.
