Puff Pastry for Tartlets

Ingredients

  • 4 sheets of ready rolled pastry
  • 1 beaten egg

Method

  • Using a small cookie cutter cut the pastry to fit the mini muffin tins.
  • Prick well with a fork, brush with beaten egg and bake in a hot oven at 200°C for 10 minutes, or until golden.
  • Allow tartlets to cool before filling.

  • Caramelised onion with Gorgonzola cheese

  • Rare roast beef with pesto
