Mini Tartlets with Assorted Fillings
- 1 portion shortcrust pastry, baked
- Lemon curd
- Fresh cream whipped with icing sugar to sweeten
- Thick custard
- Fresh strawberries, cut into small wedges, stalk intact
- Strawberry or mixed berry jam
- Mint leaves for garnish
- Crushed peanuts or nut of choice, or flaked almonds
- Chocolate scrolls or flake
- 4 piping bags
- Spoon one of each filling into a piping bag, and pipe into the prepared tartlet.
- Lemon curd filling, top with a strawberry wedge, small mint leaf
- Fresh cream filling, top with a little jam and a strawberry wedge
- Nutella filling, top with crushed nuts or flaked almonds
- Custard filling, top with chocolate scrolls or small pieces of fruit.
